I have my mortgage running with Countrywide, but I actually used a broker.

As a lender Countrywide is nice to work with

* you can make payments online

* you can make your payments deducted automatically (I chose that one)

* see your statements & payment history online

* you can adjust your monthly payment any time you want

So far - so nice.


What I do not like is

* they called me 3 times so far

* and also sent me a few letters (in 4 months)

to advertise their loan products. Equity line of credit to pay off those expensive credit cards. I really dislike this and it makes so little sense; I just doubled my monthly payment to save some interest and they offer to help me with an equity line of credit??? If they would care to look at my payments they would know I don't need their kind offers.

And the worst, they keep asking me although I tell them each time 'Never call me again'.
