That is what I can buy for 23.95 a month. I think I get a great deal.
When I bought my house the system was already in my house. I decided to have it activated. Since it was in the house I did not have to pay to have it installed.
The system comes with two key pads. I have one key pad upstairs and one downstairs. I can punch in my codes to activate or deactivate the system. There is also three button to push to get an ambulance, fire, or the police.
There are a couple of reasons I have stayed with Brinks for over 10 years. At night I set my alarm. There is a motion detector in the living room. I also have door contacts on the front and back door. Our sleeping area is upstairs. No one can get past the system to us when we sleep unless they come through the second floor. I don't have to worry if I hear a noise in the night with the system on.
You can also set the system so the motion detector is off. This is nice if you are awake and walking around the house. No one will be able to get in your front or back door without you knowing it.
One of the best features that you don't hear about is the smoke detector. If my smoke detector goes off and I don't respond within a certain period of time they call the fire department. We all know that smoke detectors save lives. BUT if you are not in your house and you have regular smoke detectors your house may burn down. With Brinks your lives and your property are save. I know this works because I once went for a walk leaving boiling eggs on the stove. I came home to a mess AND the fire department.
There is a savings with your homeowners insurance when you have a Brinks system.
The customer service has been excellent. They have been very patient with my questions. The phone support is very quick and helpful.
If you are looking for a home security system I recommend Brinks. I have used it for over 10 years and have not been disappointed.
