I booked three night in a York hotel, based on the fact they included it in the "York Centre" category and it was mapped within easy walking distance to the Minster. Turns out the hotel is 15 miles out of town! The best they could offer me was a $50 voucher off a future purchase, which isn't going to happen! They took my "non refundable" payment and do not seem willing to admit it was their problem.

The first time I used travelocity I was completely disappointed!!! I was attracted to the cheap hotel buy, bad decision. After booking the hotel through travelocity I called to make sure they do park n fly as I had seen advertised all over the internet! No they said! So I called travelocity thinking that I could probably just fix the problem-nope my fault and now I have to pay $25! (I called them 2 minutes after making the reservation!) I have now rebooked with this hotel directly through them and I am getting the park N fly deal. Then the lady at the hotel told me if you book through travelocity-this is only to stay it doesn't include park N fly!!! Travelocity is all around a bad deal. These people have no idea what the word customer service means.

I wanted to make one very simple change to a flight for which I paid $10,000 and I have now spent 12+ hours on phone calls, made two trips to the airport and one to the Fedex office, called all the air partners who they were unable to talk to themselves, paid for Fedexing the tickets , etc. All their customer "service" is done out of India, mostly by people who barely speak English. In short, it has been a horrible experience and they are unable to do anything to help me. They are incompetent, are not doing their best to represent the customer's interest.

Purchased air flight to Hawaii. They allowed me to make this reservation successfully. A full day later they called to say my reservation did not go through and if I wanted that same flight I had to pay a little over $100 more. I don't know why they allowed me to make that reservation to begin with, only to reject it later. I could have made that same reservation with the better price at another reservation site and saved myself the wasted time and effort.
