Pros: Pretty, charming, nice atmosphere, challenging weather, good deals, French Cons: Expensive crepes, crazy weather, long drive, and high potential for Québécois drunk teenage boys.
We drove from NYC, and it is a quite long trip, but: 1) We wanted the experience of what is supposed to be the best resort on the east coast, according to Ski Mag and other sources. 2) French speakers and French food is very enjoyable part of a ...

Pros: Terrain variety, convenience, snow, uncrowded Cons: Flat bottom of mountain, cold, no covered chairs.
I travelled to Tremblant for four days midweek in late February 2006 and had a generally good experience. I am an expert skier so this review is primarily from that perspective. The Skiing: Tremblant is a great mountain for the east. Zig-Zag, ...

Pros: Beautiful village, great apres ski, decent runs Cons: terrible customer service, long lines, high prices
Recently Tremblant has begun to show signs of being too popular; I spent a weekend on the mountain and was very disappointed to find appalling customer service, high prices and to my final dismay very misleading marketing. When booking our stay, my ...

Pros: Charming, reliable snow making, good chairlifts, excellent gondola Cons: Cold, icy runs, expert terrain could be closed, lifts close early, kind of expensive
I visited some friends in Montreal during Christmas and on December 26th, after I asked about Mont Tremblant, they decided that they were going to take me there. I did not oppose and in about 1h 30 minutes we were there. The village is truly charming ...

Pros: Very Friendly people, amazing restaurants, inexpensive, golf to die for ! Cons: Not enough of time to fully enjoy the area. Not much to do at night
Was there in the Summer of 2004 , to play golf at le Geant, this place is great, they have 7 world class golf course in the area. Food is great , we ate at Tratoria Di lago, and the Cheval de Jade.We stayed at Crystal-Inn, in a kingsize bed, made of ...

Pros: Express lifts, good slopes, good snowmaking, long runs Cons: Can be cold and busy. Only 150" snow a year. Nothing too advanced
We have been to Tremblant twice (Jan '01, Jan '02) and both times it was pretty much the same. They do very well on snow amounts that barely open other resorts. This is partly due to their abundant use of snow making machines. Although they only list...

Pros: User Friendly
Lots of slopeside accommodation
Tops for families
Good value
Cons: Uninspiring mountain
weekend crowds
Tremblant's big plus is that you get French purpose built resort type convenience without the rip-off costs, queues, dreadful architecture or rudeness. You can get favorably priced accommodation just a stone’s throw from the lifts and excellent kids...

Pros: Affordable skiing, organized, safe, friendly, range of skill levels, clean, convenient, many ski activities . Cons: Day runs close early, not VERY high,
sometimes insufficient powder, peak can be very cold.
I have made it a yearly trip to go to Tremblant now. I first went there in January of 2000, and I always look forward to piling into the car with my friends for our road trip to Montreal and Mont Tremblant.
Many people claim that it is a long...

Pros: Fantastic Base Village, Short Lines Cons: Frequently Cold and Windy at the Peak
Closes too early in the day
This year marked my family's second trip to Mt. Tremblant.
The high point of a ski vacation at Mt. Tremblant is the fantastic base village. It is a pedestrian-only area which makes it perfect for apres-ski strolling. It is amazing how...

Pros: Great infrastructure, flawless runs. Cons: Expensive, easy runs.
After years spent skiing only in European slopes - and more specifically in the Alps – I was really curious as to what a North American ski resort would look like. Not so much for the quality of the skiing itself, but more for the infrastructure,...

Pros: Awesome mountain, top notch Cons: Cold, a long drive
Skiing magazine rated Tremblant as the number one ski resort in the east, and anyone who has skied there can certainly agree. First off Tremblant is located about an hour and a half north of Montreal so a day trip into the city is not out of the...

Pros: If you're American, the exchange rate makes for an instant discount. Cons: Low altitude makes for poor late (and early?) season.
I have visited Mont Tremblant once and I won't be going back. It was a mixed bag for us, with some great things and some not so great things. It's certainly not a terrible place to be, but I'll spend my money going elsewhere.
The newly...

Pros: skiing, beauty, cost for Americans, friendliness of Canadians, food Cons: Like all northeastern ski resorts, it can get very cold.
Tremblant is what Vail should be: Intimate, authentically European, relaxing and reasonably priced. It is a wonderful 4 seasons resort surrounded by forested lakes. Come for the skiing and the French atmosphere and stay for its spring/summer/fall beauty....

Pros: Great Skiing, Great Golf, Canadian Dollars=Great Price! Cons: A little far from the U.S.
My first visit to Mount Tremblant was about 3 years ago and I have been going back whenever I have the chance! Mount Tremblant is located right near St. Jovite, Quebec, about 1 1/2 hours outside Montreal making a bit difficult to get to, but it...
