Incompetent, untrained, inflexible by carpenter2007 Pros: Cheap
Cons: Obvious pervasive company culture to disrespect the customer. No training, no systems, no culture of customer service. We were at the airport 1 1/2 hours ahead of our flight, in the check-in line. At the 1-hour mark, with about 3 people in front of us, the agent simply abandoned the line, and left us to the end of the other line, with about 150 people. We actually checked in and made it to the gate with a few minutes to spare, but the doors were locked. 6 flights later, the gate agent simply admitted that they had no ability to get us on any flight, any route, as everything was overbooked. We cancelled the trip. We sure hope we get our luggage back.

Worst Car Rental Ever! by eitppaks Pros: We really had none, the whole thing was awful!
Cons: everything. bad company. The first of the bad experiences was at check in. They told us the intermediate car would not fit our luggage. I told them the website said it could fit up to 5. He laughed and said you won't fit it. So we had to upgrade. then they never did a walk around the vehicle with us, so we did it on our own. found a dent and made them note it down. When it came time to return the car, what an unorganized company!!! First, the signs told us to park the car, no attendant in site so we went inside. then they told us to go out and wait..took forever! then we had a little sand in our car from our shoes..... the said they would never be able to get it out and charged us a 75.00 cleaning fee!!! This was just from the sand from the bottom of our shoes. They never mentioned this to us when we got the car...It was such a bad experience. Do not use them. you will be sorry.

unexpectedly good!! by m2karam Pros: Fast, Flexible and Clear process. Nice car and straight forward deal.
Cons: For sure there is, but I didn't see any! I had a horrible experience with Dollar and wanted to rent a car next week after paying $430 for an economic car for 5 days with Dollar. EZRent didn't look encouraging, but asking for a rate and little bit negotiation, I got a $550 for a couple of weeks in a compact car!

I didn't believe it'll go smooth and believed I'll be fooled at one part of their process. But it went perfect and much clearer than my previous experience with Dollar. Even I returned it 1 day earlier and got my cash back. That was like perfect |

Unpleasantly dirty and unwelcoming by palludan Pros: Easy pick-up
Easy return We loved the RV-way of travelling Cons: Dirty, unpleasant and worn down interior. The Cruiseamerica parking lot in Carson, Los Angeles were full of Rental RVs when we picked up ours on Dec. 11th 2009. The 30`RV was unpleasantly dirty, and I asked if it was the nicest one they could offer. Is was... I spend the first evening of our vacation cleaning and sanitizing before I could touch and live in the RV. The cushions had big spilled spots and they were sun damaged. The bed mattress was upside-down, and we were supposed to sleep on plastic. We decided to buy extra linen to cover the cushions, and a padded sheet for the bed. I am happy we brought our own bedding and linen.

We had no problems with the RV during our 1000 mile trip. We cleaned the RV thoroughly once more before returning it. We were greeted with a shrug in Carson L.A. No smiles or inquiries about our experience, a 10 sec. check of the RV (mileage). The people there obviously don't care about their costumers, and maybe they don't have to... We won't come back, and we will not recommend CruiseAmerica to others. I wonder why CruiseAmerica don't want their costumers to review on a company-based website... |
