This Is THE Place!Jun 20, 2000 Write an essay on this topic.This Hotel Brings the Magic of Disney World back to your room. Lake Buena Vista, Holiday Inn Family Suites Resort is the place to stay! This sprawling hotel lives up to the magic that surrounds Disney. At $119 or less a night you will find the following: Free Breakfast Buffet for the entire family. This buffet is something to brag about. If you want eggs, bacon, fruit, muffins, french toast or pancakes, potatoes, they got it. If you want a fast cereal and toast, they have that to. The dinning area is huge and the breakfast changes from day to day but always has its fantastic selections. If you choose to dine at the hotel for dinner, the children (under the age of 12) eat free, whether they order buffet or off the menu. The buffet offered a pasta bar or a buffet with Roast Beef, salad, potatoes, chicken nuggets and fruit. There menu offered, steaks or seafood at reasonable prices. Both my husband and I had the salad bar and ordered a steak with baked potato and vegetables and drinks for $32. If you want to eat fast, they have a Pizza Hut Express and an A&W that serves burgers and fries. These two places are open until 10:00 and can be delivered to your rooms. This Hotel has two swimming pools. One that is a large lap pool with instrumental music playing and a hot tub. The other pool is geared towards kids. It is huge and has fountains spraying, stationary squirt guns that you sit on and pedal and animal rafts to rent. After my husband and I caught sight of this pool, we thought, why leave? There is a 18 hole miniature golf course and a train that travels around the entire hotel. The lobby has a quickie mart type store that you can purchase just about anything incase you forgot something. There is an arcade that my 9 and 7 year old boys loved. They also offered childrens reading, videos or Nintendo games to rent for the room. The rooms were more than I expected. We had requested a kids suite (which we had done at a different Holiday Inn three years ago)that surpassed any other. Not only did the boys have a room that had two bunk beds, plus their own TV with Nintendo, but Mom and Dads room had a door on it, their own TV and vanity table. The room had a small counter with a microwave, coffee maker, sink and frig. The bathroom was large and always had tons of towels at the ready. Plus the room had a small living room area with yet another TV, couch, chair and table. This Hotel was run by friendly people and was extremely clean, not to mention beautiful in its appearance. The location is fantastic, whether you drive yourself, take a cab, or rely on the hotels shuttle, you will arrive to the many attraction destinations within ten minutes. This place is fantastic!  |
