Travelocity is a good Internet site for purchasing tickets, car rentals and hotel stays.

Travelocity has a great partnership with MilesMall, whereby you earn 2 miles per dollar spent on Alaska Airlines or Hawaiian Airlines and a hotel partner.

I find that this partnership enhances my mile earning potential with either airline as a value added benefit.

There is one drawback that other Internet sites have over Travelocity, their electronic ticketing option. Travelocity does not ticket your airline reservations immediately like the airline websites, as well as, other travel sites. It literally advises you that you have to wait up to 4 hours prior to viewing your ticket receipt. Other websites gives you instant confirmation that you credit card is valid, issues you your tickets with the corresponding numbers and so on.

Overall, I find Travelocity user friendly and with the added value by earning frequent flyer miles, this is my first choice for regular published air fares.
