Although Cheaptickets.com is generally good at finding a very low airfare, the interface is not particularly flexible in terms of timing, even when similarly-priced flight schedules are available at others times on a given day. In other words, the interface might suggest that the lowest available fare requires you to depart at 6:00 AM, without necessarily pointing out that a more convenient later flight would cost only a few dollars more in airfare. Contrast the site with Travelocity, which displays a sliding scale of airfares for a number of different flight combinations on a given day. In my opinion, the later setup works much better in terms of combining information about both cost and convenience. As a result, I would recommend Travelocity over Cheaptickets.com.
