I had heard from a friend that I should look into getting airline tickets on Priceline.com. I explored the site, which is very user friendly, and found it quite interesting. I was very hesitant about purchasing and making my reservations online, but went through with it anyway. I searched other airline sites before placing a bid for my tickets to Virginia, so I knew what the going price was. I started real low, because as a single mom and someone on a tight budget I wanted to get them for as low as possible. Each time they were rejected finally I bid for 2 round trip tickets at $100 apiece, and received an email saying to call a 1-800 number for more information. This was comforting to know that there were actually people behind the scenes helping me. I called and spoke to a nice man, that reassured me this wasn't a scam. I got my tickets for $125, plus a calling card. I paid extra to have them sent Fed Ex, to ease my mind, not to mention I don't have a printer so I couldn't go that route. They arrived within in 3 days. I am definately a return customer!!!
