Air Traveling With The Kids!

Jul 03 '00

If your planning a long trip in an airplane, anything from two hours and up,make-sure you have the right things to make your kids happy. If your kids are happy, you will be happy.
Here are some tips:

SEAT ARRANGEMENTS:
If you have more than one kid, have one sit on one side of you and the other child on the other side of you. This will help with the fighting, and like I said before,if your children are happy, you will be happy.

BORDEM:
If your kids are the type to get bored easily, this is what I do.Get a bag for each child.Put a surprise or two in each bag.(Crackers, cookies,a coloring book and crayons,or a bag of beads and string for a girl to make a bracelet.)Also, bring a book or two to read to them on the way there. As they say, there's nothing like a good book!If that doesn't work, then bring a c.d. player and a c.d. and try that.Or play a game such as I SPY or guess the color. If you have a small infant or toddler, bring baby toys, and an extra bottle.

FOR YOU:
If your little angels are sounds asleep and you are bored,(hey parents can get bored too......)bring a magazine,a c.d. player,or stationary to write letters. If you don't like to do any of those things, try to concentrate on where you are,and when you will be there.

PHOBIAS:
If you or your children are scared of heights, then make sure the window is kept closed,be sure to take deep breaths, and try to sleep.
