Fly for pennies

Want to fly for next to nothing? I have two words for you. Air courier.
During college, a friend and I flew to Europe and backpacked for 2 months. We were thrilled to death with the deal we got on airfare. $400 round-trip from Rochester, N.Y. to Paris.
Then, while roaming the streets of Venice, we met two Ohio boys who each paid $50 round-trip from NYC to Milan, Italy.
I thought they were lying, but I called the number they gave me when I returned home. True to their word, they had indeed paid only $50.
Well, with information in hand, I booked my first trip to Mexico. I called 3 weeks in advance and asked the price of tickets. $60 round-trip they told me. I paid an additional $50 to get from Rochester to NYC. My total ticket price was: $110.
Most airlines were offering the same trip for $400 to $800.
I've flown courier several times now and really love it. You have normal seats and it saves loads of money. With what I save, I'm able to fly more often. It's a well-kept secret.
Of course, with every good deal, there's a catch. You have to go to one of the cities serviced by the courier, you have to fly out of one of the hubs (NYC, Chicago, Miami, San Francisco...etc.) and you have to give up your cargo space. Courtier companies allow you carry-on baggage only. The idea is that they buy the plane ticket for the luggage space and let you have the seat and carry-on room for a small fraction of the price. Another con is you have to wait at the airport for their representative, who clears you through customs.
However, I believe the hassles are well-worth the thousands of dollars I've saved in air fare throughout the years.
Here's a few good ones:
Air Facility, World Courier and Now Voyager.
