Cheap Airfare

If you can find a good consolidator, stick with them. A consolidator is a travel agent/procurer of tickets. They buy blocks of seats from airlines usually at a substantial discount from buying directly from the airline. I purchased a flight to London from Chicago this fall for $225. I flew on TWA, and did have to buy it 3 weeks in advance, but I received enough miles to almost get a free ticket. I also flew from Chicago to Orlando in the spring for $118, again on TWA. The travel agency I used was Hobbit travel out of Chicago. I have had great success with Hobbit travel. There are other ticket consolidators out there. You can usually find them in your Sunday newspaper travel section. They run the ads in small print. Use them save money. Check out my Hilton hotel review.
