Student Advantage Card

As a college student, I received a complimentary Student Advantage Card when I began school. Always eager to save some money I visited their website (a very good one, by the way) to see what I can save on. Not only are their national savings available, but local merchants offer discounts with the card as well. The trick is to know what your discounts are and carry the card at all times. If you're planning on using the card for a major purchase (rail tickets, renting a car) check ahead of time how your ticket has to be bought to get the discount. Sometimes you have to purchase through the SA website to get the deal. For those of you who don't get the card free, you can enroll on the site for 20 dollars, if you agree to get a phone card as well. This is worth it because you don't need to use the phone card to get the SA card cheaper. A good buy for students...
