Inexpensive Airfare
Mar 22 '00
I have had quite a bit of experience lately with flying and trying to find the best airfare. The most pain in butt was Priceline because they wanted us to pay before we were advised of the departure/arrival times. Since my husband and I wanted to leave after he got off work that definitely would not do. Another site, Cheapseats was extremely expensive with airfare booking two to three months in advance was two times more than Expedia. The best airfare we have found is by flying AirTran. Though you may not always get straight to your city of destination (ie they fly to Newport News but not Richmond) their fares are a third the price of other airlines. They also have a frequent flyer program. If you fly six round trips or twelve one ways trips, you get a free ticket. You may book fares online and when dealing with them in person, they are polite, too!!!
Happy Cheap Flying!!!
