I loved this show! It was so energizing. It doesn't matter whether you are Irish or not, you will love to see this Irish Dancing troupe. I have never seen such skill and movement. They look like the rockettes but with talent! And the music! You will find yourself tapping in your seat.
And its not just about dancing without a cause. Each segment has a story behind it, whether it's leaving your loved ones in Ireland to go to America in search of a better or life or the clash between the Irish and the African Americans. I think its great. Even the flamenco dancer in one skit added a combination of Spanish and Irish flare that meshed together wonderfully!
The only thing I didn't like and no one else in the group I went with (there was 10 if us!) was the singing skits. They tended to be more solemn so you were on this emotional coastal ride going from upbeat and fast to slow and somber.
There was also a solo of this female violinist where she was parading almost violently up and down the stage playing her violin. It was just great. Definitely go see it!
