| Gandalf11000's Full Review: Blue Mountain |
This year I went to Blue Mountain, and I give it 5 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed all
of my 4 trips to Blue this year, and have not had one complaint. Blue is
mainly for the intermediate and beginner rider.
Terrain Park
The Terrain Part at Blue Mountain is good, but can be better. The jumps are profesionally done, and ARE REALLY GOOD! The thing is though, it is at the base of the mountain and is relatively flat, so you dont get enough speed for a few of the jumps. Overall though the Terrain Part is great!
Cost
The price for Blue Mountain is only like 30$. It is really cheap compared to other resorts in the area, which charge up to 60$
Snow Conditions
The snow conditions at Blue Mountain are the best in the Tri-State are. The main problem with the snow is that it gets icy at times. This only occurs in the mid afternoon when the mountain is really crowded.
Summary
Overall Blue Mountain is a great mountain. I would say that it is arguably the best in the Tri-State area, and I would reccomend it to anyone in the area. I would not travel from California or internationally just to go here though. Overall; 5 out of 5 stars
