Not the cheapest, but big and reliable.

Travelocity is one of only two on-line travel sites I use regularly (the other is Cheap Tickets). Although Travelocity usually doesn't have the lowest possible fares, they tend to have one of the better selections - probably because they're owned by SABRE, one of the big computerized central reservation companies, which in turn is owned by the same folks who own American Airlines. (Not surprisingly, I wind up with tickets on American half the time I buy from Travelocity! :)
So if I can't find a good fare somewhere else, I can hit Travelocity, and be sure that at least I won't wind up paying too awful much. And on some airlines, I can even choose seats as part of the on-line booking process, which can be a real plus. Naturally, they're just as good as everyone else at customer service and things like that - when I tried to use a brand new credit card once, I wound up having to call the credit card issuer's support department and Travelocity's support department a couple times each, but when all was said and done, I got the tickets I wanted, at the fare I wanted.
