While the TKTS booth is ideal for tourists trying to get a deal tyo see their fav. show. I agree with most people when saying there are better ways of going about it. If your a tourist with a large group then TKTS is your best bet, you can also talk to your conceige in your hotel. Small groups of tourists should denfinatly go to the box office first. Check out prices, seats etc. Then go to TKTS to see if they have any deals. Natives should plan ahead! there is no excuse whenyou can save $$$. Just like anything else Shows haev sales! Look in the subways for signs about discouted prices, then buy buy buy! Usually a production company will have a sale for all it's shows. buy all your tickets for the rest of the season then and reep in the discount. Sales are usually valid only 1-2 months so go every other weekend for that time. Also stear clear of touristy shows in the evening. See afternoon shows.
Have fun on B'way!
