Have you ever watched the Disney Christmas Parade on TV? Have you ever seen one of the N'Sync or The Back Street Boys concerts that were filmed in front of Cinderella Castle? Have you ever wondered how those lucky people get to see them so up close and personal?
Well, You really have know in advance, of the filmings, because they (most of the time) are NOT advertised. Hephep1 is here to tell you, it is your lucky day. I do have a little bit of Christmas filming, and concert information to share.
Most of the time, the filmings are included with the price of Theme Park, or Pleasure Island Admission. Some concerts are filmed during regular Park hours, but most are filmed either very late into the night, or as soon as the sun comes up, before the park is open.
This year, Disney World is broadcasting a 2 hour music special on Christmas Eve in lieu of the Christmas Parade. The special will be filmed all over WDW property in November and December. This week the Girl band, She Daisy, is filming in front of the castle, for the past few nights, park guest have been able to stay late and watch them perform. In the next few weeks, 98 degrees, Jessica Simpson, Billy Gillman and Frankie Muniz( from Malcolm in the Middle), will all be filming segments of the show. To find out how you can be a part of the audience, you can call 1-407-566-5863. The recorded hotline is updated every few days, as new information becomes available. Some concerts may be reserved for Disney Employees only, but if they need extra people, they will ask park guest to participate.
