We always use our "Entertainment Book" discount

When we were planning on going to Walt Disney World, I took out our Entertainment Book and starting searching the Orlando area. The Entertainment Books were for sale at JcPenney Stores and Thrift Drug stores for $32.00. Their address is: Entertainment Publications, Inc.- 2125 Butterfield Rd.- Troy, MI 48084. Their phone number is (248)637-3999. ( Sorry I do not see a toll free number!) You get half off the hotels listed, unless they are booked or it is a Holiday and the sometimes the hotels will give you a 10 percent discount. The hotels are seperated by state and then by city and it is very easy to use the book. You can also save on movies and some places to eat at and some attractions. ( These change year by year.) The discounts are good for 1 year expiring in December. I thing the new books go on sale in November.
We had been given the book as a Christmas gift the month before and although we were not planning on taking our vacation until June, I knew to start early! I also checked out what the AAA book had to say about the Hotels that I had narrowed it down to and then started calling all prospective hotels. ( Always use the 1-800 number when calling, of course!) The AAA book will also tell you the season price ranges. If you go off season it can save you a lot of money also!
We found a very nice hotel for 32 dollars a night! It had three pools and a lake! We were very happy with it! Anyhow, we were hardly at the hotel with all the running around we did in Orlando!
It will take a little extra effort and time, but for us it was well worth it. We had a great time and saved a lot of money!
