Cheap airfares usually happen on small yet noticeable airlines like Southwest or Frontier Airlines. Many airlines have many different fares depending on the occation or date that they want to release them. Some national airlines like Northwest and United and American can give overpriced fares to destinations ranging from San Francisco to San Jose or Chicago to Charlotte. It doesn't matter. You are more likely to find fares going out of the airline's major hubs like Atlanta for Delta Airlines, Minneapolis/St. Paul for Northwest Airlines, San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C. for United Airlines and New York, Miami, and others for American Airlines. I am not saying that these popular and I say popular in a very serious sense that these airlines never give low fares or rated as the worst fare airlines. Just go to their websites and see these airlines have pages that list special offers and things like the sort. The next time you fly any airline remember, the best fare can come from the unlikeleest airlines and maybe from some major carries. Good Luck!!!
