After watching the commercial, my first thought was how bad epinions would look to someone not familiar with the site. This commercial looks as if reviewers are not the intelligent people they are, as most people would not go the the extremes of actually shooting something they hate. Sure, people say things like they'd like to shoot it, but when it comes right down to it, how many really would if they had the chance? Shooting it doesn't convey the information and details you get when you're on epinions. I sure wouldn't want to go to this website after seeing this. The commercial doesn't show how useful epinions would be to the normal consumer. It makes me think that epinions is a web site for extremists. I think there are much better ways to communicate what epinions is all about. And, if that's not argument enough for you, I do think that shooting shouldn't be featured in any ads right now. Lets be a little sensitive, shall we?
