I must say that this is a quality commercial. It is short, not annoying and brings out all the best things about epinions.com. The commercial shows that opinions here are brutally honest, and that you will find reviews that are very informative on anything that you want to buy. I think this is a much better commercial than any of the ones in the first group, but it does have one disturbing aspect: what is wrong with those people who wouldn't take the free minivan.
I for one would have taken that minivan in a second. At worst you sell it to someone else for a couple thousand. You could even strip it and sell the parts. I however would keep it and cruise around Baltimore in it. In my opinion, a minivan is probably the best car for a college student. I mean its hip, and everyone admires minivans. Plus, I could take all my groupies out on the town. To top it all of, I could get a cool bumper sticker that says "soccer mom" and then everyone would know that I am certainly cool. But, alas I don't have a minivan, nor has anyone offered me a free one, nor am I really a soccer mom. Despite all this, the commercial is pretty darn good. i think it will help make epinions.com more popular, which is good for all the members.
