Great commercial if you're looking to attract all of the Mac haters out there (and that's about all you'll get). I can see the opinions these people will give now: "This product sucks!", followed up by no reasoning or facts whatsoever. This is exactly the kind of things you find on Anti-Mac sites. Oh yes, Epinions is going to have quite an intellectual community indeed (that was sarcasm).

I've looked over the other opinions people have given of this commercial, and the only people endorsing it are the, you guessed it, Mac haters. The problem I have with Mac haters is that I have yet to know a Mac hater who had an actual truthful reason for hating the Mac. It's as bad as racism, as far as the reasoning behind it goes.

I know the commercial's a joke, and it is funny, but it's late. If a commercial like this had ran in 1998 when the iMac was released, it would have been great (aside from the gun). Thing is, the PC companies who laughed at Apple are now themselves shipping computers without Floppy drives. That iMac he's shooting is an original. If he had been reviewing an actual SHIPPING iMac, his argument about the speakers (parred with the iSub) sound quality would be false. As for the mouse, Dell attempted to ship a round mouse as well. Maybe Epinions will come up with a commercial stating opinions of an actual shipping product some day. Until then, I can assure them that they did get my attention, which is exactly what the commercial was supposed to do. However, I'm not impressed in the least.
