While the ad may be offensive to some people, considering the present and or recent happenings; it is none the less a fresh and to the point ad presented by an individual. The timing is not very appropriate at this time but if the individual was shooting a slingshot it would have made the same point.
Ideas are nothing more than tiny burst of inspiration that are as fleeting as a spring breeze. To have one actually develope into something be it on paper or media gives credit to the thinker.
Tastefull? Maybe not. To the point, yes!
Bottom line, which is all the people in the ad business are concerned with anyway, is to make money for the client.
I find it very refreshinng to see an anti-product ad presented in such a down to earth manner.
The ad producer would do very well in political advertising!
