About me: I was born and raised in Bolton, England. I have lives in Italy, France and Germany and moved to the States 25 years ago. Still haven't lost the accent, no matter how hard I try. I am an incurable romantic, although I do have a positive outlook on life. I love the ocean and could not live without my ocean view, nor live further than a mile away from it.

I have been everywhere I have ever wanted to go. I am a girl Friday of sorts who works two part-time jobs as an Activities Manager for a Community Senior Center and an Office Administrator for an small electrical firm.

I joined epinions in December, 1999. Although not very technical, I like to write my reviews in MY OWN STYLE-down to earth, realistic and not too lengthy. I don't like to ramble and believe that a lengthy review is not necessarily a good review. I used to write travel reviews but have since found a home as a reviewer in Home & Garden and Beauty.
