I write about the stuff that I own. I like to research thoroughly before I buy (I use Epinions a lot), and I always test every feature of the product after I buy it. I write what I know, and what I have personally observed. You won't get any hearsay or sales hype from me. Oh, I also write an occasional opinion on literature, music and movies, but only about the ones I liked. There's some hope that an inferior product can be improved or replaced by a better one as a result of feedback, but that's not true of art, so negative reviews have no purpose.
