About Minx_In_LA

I grew up in "the most beautiful place in the world" - Carmel, California. Since then the USAF has taken us all over the Midwest. (Join up! See the world! Or mostly Texas!)And now that my husband has retired from the AF- guess where we live- TEXAS! (the AF contract jobs are here...sigh)
I'm part Gypsy and part Irish- a particularly volatile combination. I am the baby of the family, and just as spoiled and selfish as you can imagine. ;) My husband and I have one "daughter" - our slothful beanbag of a cat, H.I.B.(Her Imperial Brattiness!). (Update: Our precious sweetheart left us after 16 years on this earth. I don't think I'll ever get over it, really.)
Most of my time is spent doing rather pointless writing, more pointless housework, and thinking I need to get a hobby. But then, that's what you get when you don't have a plan for being over 21 ;)

***Update Jan 09- I obviously don't write as much for Epinions as I did in the early days. Things changed here at the site (and in life) and it wasn't much fun anymore. Now I'm just writing when the urge hits, and if there happens to be a category available for my latest offering. And it's more tempting when the place or thing does not have any reviews. Then I feel I can add something worthwhile.

Wow, celebrating TEN YEARS on this site on January 15th. Amazing. How time flies! I'm glad this site is still useful and appealing to the masses. Glad I can still contribute in some way.-------------------
