I'm an art teacher. I teach beginning art, jewelry making and art history. I'm also a graduate student these days which hopefully will make my brain grow! I love to travel to see museums and various art collections. I collect books obsessively and love reading. I support this habit by selling books on Amazon. It was getting crowded around here.
I also make and sell jewelry, some of it is very unique.

If you really challenge my intellect, and feed my brain interesting information and either completely answer all my questions or compel me to make an immediate purchasing decision, I'm likely to give you a Very Helpful rating whether I agree with what you say or not. This requires excellent writing with no or very few written errors. I DO make allowances for non-native authors. I know that English is hard if you're not born here!
If I find that you have a well-stated, and argued analysis of a product, service, book or media product, I'll rate you as Helpful whether I agree with what you say or not. There should be few errors in spelling and grammar.
If you give a good description and don't abuse the language too badly I'm liable to Somewhat Helpful your epinion.
If you write a brief, vague description in your epinion or have a lot of written errors, I might rate you as Not Helpful. In addition, if you use unreasonable profanity or messages of hate, you might also earn this rating from me. This category is also for reviews that are off topic and I'll usually let you know that I think you are in the wrong place.

For the most part so far, I have found the members of the epinions community to be well spoken and thoughtful individuals. I am so pleased to make the acquaintance of the folks I have encountered so far.
