First, the BIG note: I'm completely shirking any Epinion entries for the less-profitable yet MUCH more satisfying Xanga weblogs- the only addition that easily topped my Epinions addiction. I'll tack on the address below in case anyone would wanna check out anything I've done since I've "mysteriously disappeared" from this site. Who knows... I might even write another review within the next year or so...
AND Epinions is screwing up their links, so if you want to go to my homepage, just erase everything after "index2.html" in the link above 'cause it's adding some crap after that. The real address is:
http://www.geocities.com/adamldemarco/index2.html

Concerning Epinions.com, an amusing (satirical) quote:
Absurdity, n.: A statement or belief manifestly inconsistent with one's own opinion.
Ambrose Bierce (1842 - 1914), The Devil's Dictionary

Otherwise, as much as I enjoy writing critiques for Epinions, I started out (and continue) as a columnist for an on-line Rhode Island magazine called findRI.com. (I'm originally from Rhode Island and heading back to the states after finishing up a corporate project in France.)
Here's the indirect link to my column if you need a little cynicism in your day:

To dig up the column:
1) Right-click the picture above and select "Open Link in New Window."
2) Click on "People" in the left frame.
3) If I'm not the cover column, click "The DeMarco Factor" in the right frame.
And of course click the link far above if you wanna see my "nearly updated when I'm not consumed by distractions or other web-related mayhem" homepage!

PS: The picture above, in which I look sunburned, grizzled, and practically euphoric amongst a sea of people was taken at Woodstock '99, one of the best times I've ever had.
