About Africana
|
I am a student at Stanford University in Northern California, currently in my junior year. Majoring in human biology, I harbor ambiguous ambitions of becoming a doctor someday. We'll see if that ever translates into reality.
This summer I'm doing research in an AIDS lab at the Stanford Medical Center, examining viral resistance against reverse transcriptase inhibitors and protease inhibitors in HIV viruses. Very interesting and exciting stuff that I hope will someday contribute significantly in our fight to conquer the AIDS scourge.
