I'm a Character Layout artist on the animated show Futurama and forth year Character Animation BFA at California Institute of the Arts.
What this means is that I draw and animate ALL the time. =^_^= I've made about 3 short films so far and am working on my fourth. If you'd like to see some of my work, please check out my website and gallery!
Meanwhile, I obsessively collect toys, play vapid fighting games, and see as many films as possible. My diet consists of chicken, Dr. Pepper, chocolate, fastfood and chinese food. (unless someone cooks for me ^_^)
My knowledge lies mostly in areas of animation, film-making, cartooning and motion based topics. I'm an avid student of whatever I happen to be animating at the moment. Right now I'm pack-ratting away every book and video I can find on tigers, oni, geisha and martial arts. Last year it was seals and mermaids. =^_^=
I tend to base my ratings on three things...
(1) the quality
(2) how enjoyable it was
(3) how usefull it is in research for a freaky animator-type like myself.
