About Aldacron
|
I have lived in the Republic of Korea since 1991. I presently live in Seoul with Mi Kyoung, my wife of 6 years, and our 2 dogs. I'm a freelance English teacher and contract web programmer. My passion is to create computer games, which I do in my ample spare time.
I collect DVDs, I'm a huge fan of Robert Jordan and his 'Wheel of Time' series of books, and I can't live without my Aerosmith and classic Heart CDs. My guitars are collecting dust in the attic, having been replaced by a small library of programming books covering topics from programming languages and design patterns (Myers and GoF are saviors), to game design and 3D graphics (LaMothe is underrated), to operating system APIs (Petzold is my hero) and a great deal in between.
I require a daily dose of Friends and Survivor reruns on a local cable channel, and other shows such as the Gilmore Girls and One Tree Hill when they are available. My wife digs those Bachelor-like shows (Love or Money, Average Joe, Mr. Personality... she loves them all), so I get stuck seeing those as well from time to time. There are worse things in life I suppose.
