About Alkaiser
Well, my friend and I have decided to get our flabby selves in some semblance of shape. I'd been working out before, but now I joined a gym and am looking into what I can do with my undesired physique.

Anyway, I started out at 168 pounds, and I've worked my way down to a svelte 163. A mere 33 pounds more than what I used to weigh in college. However, the little body fat detector my friend's got at his place that I'm only 13.1% fat. Woo hoo! Which means I've only got 21 pounds of fat on my body. 1.5% less than when I started this whole deali-o.

*Update 11/16/2002*
Wooooo! Down to 7.2% body fat, 153.5 pounds!!! I'm WAY in the "Superior" box! -14.5 pounds, -7.4% body fat...more than 50%...in just about 2 months. Coolness!

Anyway, here's what I'm doing:

3 sets of 20 bicep curls @ 35 lbs.
3 sets of 10 shoulder lift thingys @ 35 lbs.
3 sets of 15 "shrugs" @ 50 lbs.
3 sets of 15 tricep curls @ 50 lbs.
3 sets of 50 chest lift thingys @ 35 lbs.
3 sets of 15 lat pull-downs @ 110 lbs.
1 set of 100 inclined squat lifts @ 450 lbs.
8 sets of 25 inclined squat lifts @ 720 lbs.
100 crunches.
100 of the knee lift things.

As you see, my workout requires a lot of things, but knowing what the heck everything is called is not one of them. If you think I should incorporate something else into my workout, send me an email and let me know.

I'm trying to push the weight amounts gradually higher to try and build myself up...but I'm not developing the "cuts" as fast as I'd like. I look real good for about 15 minutes while I'm still in the gym, and then I revert once I get home...it's getting really frustrating.

Something else that's getting fairly frustrating is that I can't fit anymore weight on the inclined squat machine. I saw some guy put 855 pounds on it once, and I can't quite replicate his setup without it seemingly fairly hazardous to the people around me. I have literally 2-3 inches of space seperating my workout from devastating accident to someone else.

I'm trying to get organized...here's a partially categorized list.
