About alphawholf
I am 53 yrs old. I have been married to my third husband over 31 years. We have four children: 2 boys, 2 girls plus eleven grandchildren and 1 great grand-daughter. I'm easy going, fun to be around and my favorite word is "reciprocity." But I believe "to respect any life, you must respect ALL life..." So I have a "no tolerance" attitude when it comes to animals abuse, neglect, factory farming, animal testing, etc.
My husband, Bill, and I own a 1992 Honda Gold Wing Aspencade on which we have toured 48 States.
We are currently owned by two Boxers, one Bichon Frise, two cats and one rescued Parrot.
We live on five acres in the country
on a dirt road surrounded by an Invisible Fence. We have nearly an acres large pond and the fish come to me and eat strips of bologna right out of my hand.
I am also known as "The Dishwasher Lady" from America's Funniest Home Videos pilot show. We won $5,000 and were given another $5,000 but were not permitted to take part in the first $100,000 competition because we were the pilot and recieved so much publicity that ABC was concerned that viewers would think it was "fixed".
During the school months I also take in troubled/disrupted teen boys when they are suspended from a nearby private college prep school for periods of time. While here they are at "The Work Farm" and much emphasis is placed on their bonding with our animals.
As an abused child myself, from a broken home I take my work with children and animals very seriously in an effort to create a bonding of spirit's based on mutual respect and a need for unconditional love.
