About Amana97

I grew up in Iowa and lived there most of my life. My husband and I met by chance several years ago on the internet (gasp!) and became long distance friends. We were married in 1998. My three children have always been the joy of my life. I love being their mother! Now I've added three wonderful stepchildren to our family circle.
I worked in higher education for most of my adult life, most recently as the executive assistant to the president of a small, private college.
Although we recently moved to Texas from the East Coast, my husband and I enjoy Broadway theater, trying new restaurants, music, Connecticut women's basketball, Big 12 sports (Iowa State and the University of Oklahoma. However, we especially enjoy each other. Jeff (Bonies7 at Epinions) is a talented and inspiring writer. I recommend you give him a read or two.
