About amymar1432

Car background:
I started off being an average car buyer who had made mistakes in the past. Now that I have access to the internet, I can thoroughly research cars that I like and get more in depth information about quality ratings, vehicle pricing and financing. This helped me to negotiate a great deal at the dealership's expense.
My favorite cars:
1992 Acura Legend LS. I just recently purchased it and I am enjoying commuting back and forth to work again.
1995 Nissan Quest. My wife knew it was hers the minute she sat in the seat. Husbands, always take care of the wife first. She always gets compliments from other mini-van moms when she drives the kids to school.
1989 Ford Probe. This was my first brand new car! It ran great for 10 years with 206k miles. I had no engine problems with it whatsoever (thank you Mazda). My wife and I were meticulous about vehicle maintenance.
1984 Starion Mitsubishi. Also known as a pocket rocket! The cockpit included a digital display and it had a turbo charged engine baby. Alas, this car later developed fuel injector problems and the digital display worked when it felt like it.
1982 Camaro Berlinetta. My first real car was fully loaded and had a moon roof. Within a month, it was totaled after being hit by a drunk driver. Yes, I was MADD! My least favorite Cars:
1973 AUDI. Someone told me as a joke that Audi meant pedestrian in German. Two weeks after I bought it, the engine blew out and I was once again using public transit.
1979 Triumph TR7 convertible. I blew a cylinder rod in it a couple of months later. Always look at your temperature gauge! I did the smart thing and invested in a rebuilt engine.
