You name the library department, and I've worked in it. I've done the children's department (preschool storytime-not as easy at it looks), reference ("I'm looking for a book I saw once, it had a red cover, can you find it?")and finally settled down as the Technology/AV Coordinator(less human interaction, really cold office). Yeah, I could make more money in the private sector but could I get all the free books I can read? Not to mention being the person who buys the movies (Hrm, that Superman special edition DVD looks cool - think I'll order it)
Describing the contents of my office will probably say more about me than I ever could. Half a dozen pictures of my son and husband, a Cheetor action figure, a Merriam-Webster dictionary, my computer, various Anime items and an old comfy gray fleece sweater.
I also review romance novels for The Romance Reader.
