Once an English Major and teacher of English as a Second Language for Adults, Aric now works in the International division of a company that has a monopoly on a product that few people really care about:
Baking Soda (sodium bicarbonate).
Those of you in the USA can probably name this company's major brand name, but never even know that the company itself goes by a totally different name.
For those of you outside the USA, you've probably never heard of them... but they're working hard to change that. ;-)
Aric loves gadgets and is fascinated with bright, shiny objects. ;-)
He loves to laugh and has a quirky sense of humor.
So why did he start writing for Epinions?
Aric's the kind of guy who actually reads manuals and usually does a lot of research before making a purchase. He loves reading well-written, clear and complete reviews about products so he can figure out what his best choices are.
He stumbled on Epinions one day while Googling and was interested. Here was a place where actual users could review products they ACTUALLY USED to help others who were thinking of buying that same product. Amazing!
Aric decided that he would try to write best-of-class (this is a goal, not a conceit) reviews that are truly helpful. He only plans to write about products and topics where he feels that he has something substantive to add.
So what does Aric enjoy? (No particular order.)
Music (everything but country, pretty much)
Computers
Reading
Volunteer work (and helping others in general)
Traveling
Laughing
