I've always enjoyed toys - particularly action figures. When I was a kid, my parents rewarded good behavior with trading cards, die-cast vehicles and figures. I guess I never outgrew the feeling of fun when it comes to toys. Needless to say, as I've gotten older I've found that this hobby provides me with a sort of escape into the realm of happy thoughts. Of course, the adult side of me is into gadgets and anything techy which can create heavy blows to the wallet. The pack-rat in me automatically makes me want to collect *everything* but primary focus has been (at least over the last 18-20 years) action figures and vehicles. I have an extensive Trek, female and translucent action figure collection. I also have a large Playmobil and comic related section in my toy room. I'm fortunate to be working for an online e-tailer in their toy department as a classifier. Despite not being my profession - its not often one gets to do their hobby at work!
