I am a Humboldt State University Alumnus, and I attended CSU Monterey Bay before transferring north to HSU. I grew up in Austin, TX; Sacramento, CA; as well as Rotterdam and Den Haag in the Netherlands. I am currently working with a nationally active media non-profit based here in Arcata, CA.
My future will hopefully include more time abroad, some peace and justice activism, and maybe even a foreign language or two. Foreign travel has been gifted to me since I was very young (a trip to India when I was six months old got me started), and it's about time to do another trip on my own. My last overseas adventure landed me in rural Scotland on an organic farm for six weeks. That was more than five years ago, and the itch to leave again is becoming unbearable... any wealthy benefactors that may read this are welcome to email me with offers to send me away.
My hobbies (other than travel) include fiddling with electronics; reading; hand percussion (mostly belly dancing rhythms); talking politics and political philosophy with friends (and not-friends); drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes.
