I plan to review every novel Philip Roth has written. This depends, of course, on being able to find them all, specifically the 'middle' works which are, to be kind, not so great. But he is my favourite author, so a goal is set.

I'm going to make a dent in Australian literature this year. It's been far too long, and there's really no excuse for it. As an Australian, I need to show my support for my country uh people who are out there writing amazing works. I'm sure they exist. I shall find them.

They are the two primary goals. I am happy to accept recommendations from anyone else on this site who wishes to throw a novel or two at me. You can gather my tastes from what I read, I'm certain.

A final note - I shall not be present for virtually the entire month of February. I am going to Vietnam, with my lovely sweetheart. What fun we shall have.
