I live in Ohio and am a SAHM to a wonderful 3 year old boy. Prior to becoming a Mom, I was a teacher and plan on returning to teaching when my son (and any future siblings he may have) is in school full time. I also taught Preschool for 5 years at the White House Day Care Center in Washington, DC before moving to Ohio. Talk about culture shock!!! I still go back and visit DC as often as I can as I have some great friends who still live there.
I just celebrated my 4th anniversary with DH who is a HS teacher. He is also a football coach for the Div. IV State Championship football team here in Ohio!! Go Pirates!!!
I am very involved in our local MOPS program as the craft co-coordinator. MOPS is a great ministry for Moms of Preschool age kids. For more information about MOPS, check out my epinion titled "Just What I Needed". I believe it is very important for Moms to network with other Moms and support one another in the work that we do.
