After spending lots of years looking for the knight and finding a lot of horse poop, I discovered a dragon instead. We were happily married for almost a decade when he passed away suddenly.
While we had already become transplanted Yankees in the deep south, I decided to head west to spend some time with family in Oklahoma. I loved the area but adjusting to an extremely active family and taking care of a house was way too much for a body that isn't as young as I want it to be. When they moved back to the cold north I found a beautiful place in SC where winter lasts until noon some days, the hills are green and the flowers gorgeous most of the year.
I still sell a little plus size clothing and other doodads on ebay auctions. I travel domestically as often as time and money allow. With relatives all over the country that is sometimes more necessity than vacation. And I am still on staff full time for at least one kitty and, hopefully always will be.
