About Bastiat
I think we have an opportunity at Epinions to give real service to our fellow consumers. The big advantage is uncensored customer evaluation of products. What a terrific way to bypass the marketing and public relations arms of corporate America with their frequent misinformation. The downside is that many people here are not being true evaluators, but are just writing to make a few extra bucks with as many skimpy airhead reviews as they can possibly post. This will kill the value of this site.
I noticed one classy person chose to give all of their earnings to the American Cancer Society.
I admit, I thought I might try to earn a few extra dollars when I began. But what class that attitude is. I wish I had thought of it.
Anyway, Epinions, send any and all of my earnings directly to the American Cancer Society.
Why don't you join us, and publicly show you are in this for service. Pick a true, legitimate charity cause and ask Epinions to directly donate to that charity. It's a double way to do good, and it will make your epinions more credible.

I received an e-mail from epinions that they are setting up a procedure to allow direct donations to charity. Way to go guys.
