BARGAINS & BEST VALUES
Im a value shopper who mainly reviews products in the Restaurants & Gourmet, Home and Garden, and Sports & Outdoors categories that provide consumers with the most bang for their buck. I rarely find luxury or status goods appealing, and look for the product that provides the best quality for the money spent. For those familiar with firearms manufacturers, Sturm, Ruger, & Co., Inc. is an example of an American company that provides the kind of value for money I typically seek in my goods and services. I like to research products before I spend my money, so a lot of my reviews tend to be favorable because Ive put some time into finding products that have a reputation for quality. They may not be the cheapest, but they provide excellent utility for each dollar invested.
MY LATEST PROJECT
My new project is to review all of Outdoor Life's Ten Best Bourbons by Jan. 1, 2011. I'm calling it my Tour de Kentucky! Cute, huh? Are these really the ten best bourbons? Thats a debatable point, but the editors at Outdoor Life have compiled a very good list of bourbons that are sure to provide me with a fun diversion from my Epinions ennui. Here's the list, folks:
1. Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 15 Yr.
2. Buffalo Trace
3. Woodford Reserve
4. Booker's
5. Knob Creek
6. Eagle Rare 10 Yr. Old
7. Bulleit
8. Maker's Mark
9. Wild Turkey Rare Breed
10. George T. Stagg
So, if you are looking for an excuse to try some new bourbons or perhaps a distraction from your winter doldrums, then grab your favorite tumbler and join me. Join me, or die.
