I'm a flight attendant for a major global airline and live in the San Francisco area just outside of Napa (Benicia, CA). I also bring with me some 30-plus years of travel industry experience within the related fields of cruise, resort property management and most recently, the airline industry. I'm anything but a writer but I have come to rely so much on EPINIONS and I so value the reviews that I decided to add a few of my own where I feel competent.
Travel is a passion! I started when I was 8 or 9 years old and collected travel brochures in place of the real thing as my parents never ventured more than 100 miles from home (ever). I never flew, never sailed or cruised or for that matter stayed at anything that resembled a hotel other than Motel 6's.
I started travel at the age of 12 I guess. My family finally ventured to San Francisco (from Los Angeles) and for me that was another country! Even if 'passports' weren't needed, I could at least pretend! I recall my dad being amazed at how I directed him around in San Francisco (we drove it) with such ease but I had cheated and read various travel guides way before the trip.
Some 30-40 years later, I have now circled the globe many times over by airplane. I've cruised some 30-plus times and I've skied just about every resort there is in America and Canada.
I'm obsessed with Italy and her amazing people. Hawaii's stunning beauty outshines anything else on this earth. The Grand Canyon is my 'Best Of America' personal pick. I prefer 'Celebrity Cruises' as my first pick of cruise lines (Royal Caribbean is a great second choice) and I can't imagine anything I else I could ever do in life and get paid for it as well... Someone pays me to fly to London or Paris and I am so gifted.
I will write here on EPINIONS only for those things I really know about, have experienced or have a passion for. Including travel, electronics, cars, food, wine and the bay area.
