I'm a single twenty-something who has never been shy with offering an opinion on practically anything. As someone with mild dyslexia, I view the world graphically, multi-dimensionally and with all senses. I notice and "feel" product qualities that most people overlook or take for granted. I'm a perfectionist and can be rather critical, so don't get upset if I rate your epinions with extra vigor. It's just part of my nature.
I develop software and web apps to pay the bills, but my real passions are those pursuits which indulge the senses: pleasure driving, music, photography, gourmet cooking and, yes, surfing the Net with my fat broadband connection.
When the skies are crystal blue and the air is warm and sweet, I can do nothing else but stretch out and let the simple, primal experience seep in. I'm horrified by how so many people ignore the simple pleasures of life. I side with Ferris Bueller - how could I possibly go to work on a marvelous day like this?
When the weather is beautiful, I take off the afternoon and come back in the evening. Not every job can do that, but if you don't embrace life yourself, you might let it pass you by.
That's why I'm passionate about manual transmissions, why I shoot Fuji Velvia film, why I could never deal with 56K dial-up. Life is about experience, texture and dimension. I won't settle for anything that denies me from feeling.
That said, I am an agnostic libertarian. I believe that every individual has worth, dignity and value and holds certain natural rights that no government authority may deny, that free-market capitalism must prevail across the globe, and that the mechanics of government and organized religion are largely responsible for most human pain and suffering.
Heavy stuff, I know, but isn't this an opinions site?
