About bgardner
I am a former newspaper editor now making my living translating government speak, chemistry and physics into English. (Translation: I am a public affairs contractor for a government agency.)

I have written for newspaper and magazine stories, broadcast news, short stories, poetry, if you can get paid for it, I've written it. I also do graphic design on both PC and Macintosh platforms.

On the fun side, I love books, music, wine and travel (though I don't do near enough because time and money are always in short supply). I also play tournament bridge and have a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. I am too old and slow to compete in that.
