I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Geography at UCLA. I have written 5 chapters of my dissertation and expect to finish it and graduate this year.
I also work as the Campuswide Technology TA Coordinator for the Teaching Assistant Training Program at UCLA. Basically, this means that I am responsible for training Teaching Assistants to make appropriate use of technology in their teaching. This job has been a ton of fun because it allows me to combine two of my favorite pursuits: educating others and playing with computers. My job requires that I explore new technology and help TA's to decide if and how it should be put to use in teaching.

In my free time I like to golf, pursue photography, build control line model planes, and learn more about technology, computers, and web page design.
